When Saxen Branham decided to open His & Hers, she needed help financing her business. She contacted the Goshen County Economic Development Corp., which connected her with John Privette from the Wyoming SBDC Network.

‘John was a tremendous help to take my idea and develop it into a business plan that allowed me to obtain funding and realize my dream of owning my own shop.’

John helped Saxen develop a business plan and financial projections, which she used to secure a micro-loan from the Wyoming Women’s Business Center.

Saxen noted that her salon was unique in Torrington, being the first to offer certain skincare services and a combined salon and barbershop concept.
